Feather meal is made from feathers of various poultry and the raw material of feathers that be unfitted for the feather product. Practice shows that Feather meal which through a processing can replace fish meal. It is a kind of high-quality protein resources and in animal production has a broad application prospects.

Nutritional Characteristics

The content of The crude protein of feather meal is over 80%.It is higher than the fishmeal. The characteristic of its amino acid composition is that the content of Gly and Ser is high, respectively 6.3% and 9.3%. Isoleucine concentration is also high, up to 5.3%.It is suitable for less with the isoleucine content of the raw materials (such as blood meal) compatibility. Another characteristic of the feather meal is high content of cystine.Although be destroyed in hydrolysis,they still contains about 4% of all feed content of the highest bidder.
